Hello

Nick Thompson is from Philadelphia, PA. He has a BS Degree from Duke University, an MS Degree from Concordia College, and is pursuing a Doctorate with Abilene Christian University.

Thompson became a member of Omega Psi Phi via the Omega Zeta Chapter at Duke University in the Spring of 1983. He has served Omega in several capacities. At the undergraduate level, Thompson was Chapter KRS, Social Action Chair, and Parliamentarian. At the graduate level, he has served as Chapter KRS, Vice Basileus, and Basileus of two chapters, including Charter Basileus for Omega Mu Nu (QMN) Chapter. At higher Fraternity levels, he has served as International Undergraduate Affairs Committee Chairman, 12th District Bylaws Chair, 75th 12th District Meeting Deputy Marshal, and is a seven-time elected 12th District KRS.

He has served as PTO President for Ben Franklin Elementary School, NPHC Inland Empire President and charter Vice President, inaugural President of the GLG Science Education and Community Services Association, and Corresponding Secretary for 100 Black Men of the Inland Empire. Presently, Thompson serves with the American Youth Soccer Organization in Riverside, AYSO Region 47, as the scheduler, statistician, and Regional Commissioner Assistant. Also, Thompson is Vice President of the Uplift Legacy Foundation.

Professionally, Thompson served aboard two US Navy submarines as a Nuclear Electronics Technician and as a Navy Recruiter in St Louis, MO. Moving to California in 2000, he presently works for Schneider Electric, where he installs, commissions, and repairs uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for various clientele.
